Depending on the opening of you door, your bespoke Magpost will either have two or three magnetic faces each face having up to 850 holding force. This will be an equivalent force of 1700 for an out opening door and 2550 for an in opening door. The Magposts use an electric current to produce magnetic force. Due to the increased strength because of the current, the door can withstand pressure. Meaning the door can not be forced open so are ideal for security.
As Magposts use electric current to keep the door locked, this allows them to be fail-safe, making the Magposts safe for use as an emergency exit. If the power was to go out in a fire via a fire relay or call button, the door would unlock, allowing people to exit the building.
